Anonymous usage statistics
Useful site analytics without profiles, advertising trackers or a record of what any named person did.
What is counted
When aggregate statistics are enabled, the site can count page views and broad interactions such as starting a game, opening a hint, checking an answer or completing a tool. It may also count a broad device-size category and whether a visit arrived directly, from search, from another Chemistry Help page or from elsewhere.
What is deliberately not stored
- No analytics cookie or persistent visitor identifier.
- No name, email address, typed chemistry answer or free-text content.
- No IP address, full user-agent string, full referring URL or individual session replay.
- No cross-site tracking, advertising profile or data sale.
Events are added immediately to daily totals. The dashboard contains aggregate counts rather than a trail of individual visitors.
