Why the hard mode is harder
The four-isotope questions require you to convert a ratio into algebra, express the final abundance as the remainder to 100%, and then solve a weighted-mean equation. The figures are generated from a hidden exact solution, so the chemistry and arithmetic remain internally consistent.
